I called Microsoft again and explained everything, asked if she could walk me thru what I needed to do she said 'its not that difficult sir' then just hung up on me. So I decided just to go buy windows 10 and install it, might as well update if I messed up the hard drive or something by losing power during the factory reset. I contacted Microsoft and emachine who gave me no help.
